Clarisonic anyone?

What is the word on the street about Clarisonic thingamagiggers?  I have a friend that can't stop raving about hers and I am in major need of exfoliation help so I read reviews online and they all sound pretty good.  But dang, those things are expensive...but the cost of about two spa facials, so I could rationalize it as long as it really works long term.  Anyone have one?  Worth it?

They are costly, but I love mine.

BUT, you can just as easily get a good face brush from Sephora for $10 or something super cheap and make it work for you.

O - Which one do you have?  Mia? Regular? Plus/pro?

Mia.  It is great for travelling, I ilke it's smaller size and I'm pretty sure I can count to 15 on my own, instead of hearing the beeping.  My friend has the regular and it's much larger.

I was going to say OFace looooooves hers. When she first got it, she raved about it, too. They have cheaper versions of the same thing and from what I've read, they are pretty decent. I saw one at Sams and it was a fraction of the cost of the real deal. I'd try one, but my skin is so sensitive, I have a feeling I would hurt myself.

I was thinking maybe I would want the bigger one with a body brush so that I could sandblast my elbows and heels.

Oh and also, how often do you need to replace the brush?

I would replace it about every 3 mos.  They're around $30.  I use a regular back scrubber for my back.  Salt scrub for elbows and knees, not my clarisonic.  but hey...I'm a priss.
