A Heffa Related Find

So I was digging things out of my hope chest and reorganzing them in a tote so I could store extra blankets in the chest.

Among the dried high school corsages, momentos from my sister as a toddler, and other childhood trinkets, I found a box marked "Vest made by Grandma Lila."  I vaguely remembered it, but I know Mom saved it for me for years and years.  I opened it, and it's PURPLE with three owls knitted along the top. 

I can't wait for DD to be 3-4 y.o. so she can wear it, too.

My mom has the sweater and hat that 1) my BSC grandmother made to bring my dad home from the hospital when he was born (he was born in May and it's thick wool) 2) I wore when I came home from the hospital 3) to put on TB when s/he comes home.
