Once upon a time, there was this girl, I'll call her Leah.
Mom really wanted me to be friends w/ Leah--Mom and Leah's mom had been very good friend before we were born and right after we were born. Then drifted away but still liked e/o.
Leah was TO socially awfully for me to hang with.
Considering my level of socially awful, that was PRETTY damn bad.
So, once upon a time, there was a 'hayride'/octoberfest/halloween/corn-maze thing provided by my church's youth group. I got to go to 'half' of this--not allowed in half of it at age 15 or so because it was Halloween-esque and my parents were on a 'satan worshippers!' kick at the moment.
Leah, who went to OldChurch was invited by a 'mutual friend'.
There was a teenboy there who was visiting w/ someone
Now, if you want to have random teengirls throw yourself at you, be a 'visitor' to a youth-group event and be male. That's it. That's all one has to do.
I mean, graduating class of 50, 90% of the town was related to you...the dating pool was damn small and in need of chlorine. and 'good christian' boys were hard to come by--unless you count pimply Ryan who you've known since he was in diapers so there's no allure.
So, we get sent to the cornmaze and kids scare teh pee out of each other...and in Leah's case, literally.
So Leah peed her pants, at age 15/16, in the middle of a field at the BEGINNING of a long evening.
She didn't call her mom, or a friend, or even borrow pants from the pastor's kid (we were behind K's house--she'd have lent them)
She just tied a jacket around her waist and pretended nothing was wrong.
THen, it came time, at the end of the night, for there to be a posted picture. And they crowd some absurd number of kids into this shot.
And all the girls are throwing themselves at randomTeenBoy.
Well, to crowd people together, someone had to sit on TeenBoy's shoulder...
and For the next 6 months, Leah bragged that it was her.
Yes, this teenage girl, sat on her crush's shoulders, in pee-soaked jeans.
And he was POLITE about it and avoided our entire group of friends like the plauge forever and my friends shunned Leah over this.
(I was already anti-Leah so it didn't affect me)
