    MTV is 30.

    I remember my dad telling me I couldn't watch it. This, from a man who grew pot in the back yard and smoked it in the garage with his friends. Big picture, dad. Way to keep your eyes on the prize.

    Ha!   When I was a kid, the only reason we even had cable was because my parents wanted MTV!   My parent's were thirty at the time and they loved all the music that MTV was playing.

    I'm 35.  I, too, am older than MTV.  Didn't like it then and I don't like it now.
