Wedding Woes

Y'all these budget cuts are NO JOKE.

Be glad that you have small kids.

Our classes are HUGEEEEEE.
We lost 28 teachers.

I really hate to see how this is going to work out this school year. Let's hope we can find some money to hire a few more teachers.

Let's just say math and science classes are looking like 33-35 kids will be the norm this year. That's a lot of little bodies.

Tell my MIL.  She doesn't understand why I want the kids to go to a private school.

6, Private schools are having their issues too. There tuition is going up, and the small amount of state funds they receive are being cut.

Let's all pray the government can get their acts together and see that education is not the area that should take such a huge hit.

From what I can tell, education took the biggest hit of all.

H, I already laughed in one teacher's face when she came to my office talking about her class sizes for this school year.

    LAUGHED ALL IN HER FACE......

Please be noting that her first day isn't until next Monday, but she *heard* that the classes were huge and wanted to come check.

I know that Nola.  i was speaking of our local one.  The biggest class is 20 kids and the tuition hike took it to $1300/yr.  They are building a new school to house all of the elementary schools in the district.  6 elementary schools in one seems like a bad, bad idea.

I really do feel bad for teachers when it comes to class size.  I always vote for the levies, but I WISH they would come up with a different way to fund them.  Ohio pays for schools through property taxes.
