My, now former (WAHHH!!), boss is moving to VA. She took a different position with the company. She's leaving on Sunday to move out there. On Saturday, we collectively threw a party for her.
The house where it was held is owned by my co-worker J and his partner R. R built the house in 2003. The house is 4 floors and a total show-stopper.
The lowest level/basement has two bedrooms and the 3-car garage. The main level is their 3 story foyer with two stair cases on each side leading up to the third level. You walk from the foyer into the formal dining room and then the kitchen and a sitting area is in the back of the house. Also the door to the backyard/gardens is on the side of the house. The third level is their bedroom and the laundry. The fourth level is a Tiki bar and it has a spiral staircase up to the roof top deck.
The house is decorated to perfection. The landscaping is AH-mazing. They have fountains and a fireplace in the backyard. And the best part of the house, it faces the downtown skyline and each level has floor to ceiling windows. They have an annual 4th of July party and have the best view in the city of the downtown fireworks from any level of their house.
I hope I die and come back as a gay guy that has buku money to spend on real estate.
