Yesterday I went to get my dress steamed for the final time before my wedding TOMORROW. As I got my dress out of the car and walked to the bridal shop, I slipped on a bunch of oil that was in the parking lot (it looked like some carless moron changed his oil in the parking lot without an oil pan). I slipped and fell with the dress, which was in its bag but the bag wasn't waterproof. I went into hysterics, ran into the shop where the employee took it out of the bag. It was ALL over my dress, which is tiered. I was a mess and still am about the whole thing. They were able to clean it with Dawn and water, with a few exceptions of some residue and stains in the lining, which the store owner believes a dry cleaner can get out today. My fiancee has been so awesome and is taking it to the dry cleaners to see what they can do to get the remaining stains. I just had to share my story... be careful where you step, ladies.
