The motherclucking fire alarm control panel (located next to my door) has been going off since Saturday. I asked a patrolling cop to look at it then, but he couldn't figure it out. I finally mashed some sht and got one alarm off, but the other just would not die.
I called the association office first thing yesterday and asked that it be inspected. The damn thing was still beeping when I got home last night. So all bets are off. I called this a.m. and left the condo association office a message stating, "Fix the goddamn control panel or I will call the fire department after hours tonight to have the issue resolved." Here's hoping I go home to more silence and less beeping.
I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking my alarm was going off. Bastards.
