I saw a car the other day that said "Your driving behind a 2010 Grad!!!!"

I'll be the first to admit I'm horrible with the English language, but even I saw what was wrong with that.

Yes they are. Kids today can't even write or speak correctly half of the time.

There's a teacher at my mom's school that lets her students write in "text speak" because in her mind, "at least they're writing." Then they get all pissy when they get to my mom's class (reading and language arts) and have to use real words and put together real sentences. She's close to running her head through the wall by the end of the day.

At H's commencement ceremony there were Master's students with blinged out mortar boards. That is acceptable in HS, and to a certain degree, for undergraduates, but for your Master's degree - NO.

This is sadly true, and also a confession. My brother is a teacher, and he has something as being "self-explanitory" on his FB page. It makes me cringe everytime I see it. At least he's only a math teacher.

Wonderwife, I would make fun of my brother mercilessly for something like that. Why don't you point it out to him?

The Con-grad-ulations thing drives me nuts. People think it's cute and punny. I think it makes them look uneducated.
