Wedding Woes

Birthday Party Recap

Autumn's party went well. The rain held off until it was over and we had about 35 people show up. I know, kill me.

We had 2 families that didn't RSVP show up, which sent my BP through the roof. It was an evite FFS, you just click a damn button!!

We also had party crashers, since it was at a park, and i went off on 2 kids getting the candy from the pinata because 1- who TF were they? 2- they were 3 years older than the kids at the party and 3- they pushed the invited kids out of the way.

Their parents were nearby doing idfk what so i asked them if they minded keeping an eye on their kids.

Candi=biitch, and guess what? i don't care.

We had lots of yummy food packed up and went home.

Autumn got an entire plastic tote full of gifts. The big kind that you could fit a body in. I made her put away everything as soon as we got home because if I had to look at it on Sunday I knew I would lose my mind.

My freaking camera is broken so i only got a couple of pics, luckily one of them was her DIY favor bags, they were so cute. She wrote the name on it and then drew pics. Adorable, and it kept her busy for 2 hours the morning of the party. Of course, the camera is at home, so I can't post that.

Instead, here's a pic from this AM. She's growing up :(

    Look how pretty!  Love the sandals.  Parents suck, but as long as Autumn had fun, right?

    Awww, BOO for having to parent other people's children, but YAY for Autumn growing up. Don't worry, you'll be thrilled she's 5 when you've got a screaming infant needing to be fed/changed/burped/watered/taken outside (wait, those last two may not apply) at midnight, then 1:47, then 3:15, then 4:28, then 5:54...

    We had to have an adult  bash the pinata a little bit, there's no way a bunch of 5 year olds could ever break it. It was thick reinforced cardboard. wtf?

    You deserve a standing ovation for this!   Yay Candi!

    And Autumn is just adorable.   I can't believe how quickly she is growing up!   (Or have I just been on TK too long?)
