I've been hunting for my car keys all morning.  Jacket, pants, purses, counters, everywhere.  I used the spare key to get to mom group and went in and out the garage because I couldn't unlock the doors without my car keys.

I finally found my keys.  I'd used them last night to get in the house and never took them out.  Yep, they were outside in the door all night.

OMG, I've done that a few times.  Usually when I have my hands/arms full of groceries. 

One time, my FIL found my keys in the door when he was coming over to pick the kiddo up.  I felt like a total moron.

Yep conn.  We ran out for sour cream yesterday.  I had M2 in one hand and sourcream and a wallet in the other.

A few months ago when I had a lost dog that I was walking around to all of the houses on my block I noticed that a guy's keys were still hanging in his front door, including the key to his BMW parked in the driveway.  He is lucky that the stray and I didn't go for a joy ride.

I didn't even think about the car key being right next to the car all night too.  I need to step up the game when we get to civilization.

DH  found his keys hanging in the door of his truck this morning.... in our driveway. They'd been there overnight.  6fsn, you'll probably have at least a general idea of where we live.  Dublin Rd between Hayden Run Rd and Fishinger Rds.  Not a high crime area but still.
