Re: You you be mad?

  • Would you be mad?

    I left off the would.

  • how much did it cost and how old am i?

the answer is "no, i would not be mad" if it was less than $25 and i was under 15.

eh, not really. it's one of those dresses "you could totally wear again" if you love it.

i just don't care for how dated they look as a group.
  • I wouldn't.  I'm not crazy about the colors, but it looks like it'd actually be a nice spring dress with a cardigan or something.

I love a good maxi dress.
  • Yes, I would be mad. Mostly because someone is preying on blind people telling them that dress is beautiful and bridesmaids would love to wear it.
  • Not really. Truthfully, accessorized creatively, those dresses are far more "wear it again some other time" than the vast majority of BM dresses that claim the same. if it's all one color, it's shiny, and is not a power suit or power dress or a hottie tamale dress, it's a frickin' BM dress

  • They are all pretty girls, and I don't get the look she was going for. I would have worn it, but I wouldn't have liked it.

    If I was pregnant I wouldn't mind.

  • If it was cheap and kept me from wearing something $300+ and lime green, I would be all over it.  However, I would refuse to quat like that.

  • I wouldn't care because:
    1. people know I didn't pick it
    2. it's really not that bad and as others have said, accessorized correctly would be cute.
    3. this could actually be cut off in to a cute spring/summer dress that could be worn again.

There are so many worse dresses out there, this is pretty tame.
  • I don't know what the obsession is over bridesmaids wearing their dresses again.  Who wants to wear a dress someone else picked out for them without their taste in mind more than once?

  • For the record I would like to point out that my sister DID wear her BM dress from my wedding again.  She had it shortened and wore it to a fancy party.  So there.

I think it is a way for brides to feel validated. I asked H his opinion on BM dresses and he picked the shorter one so they could 'wear it again.' I laughed and laughed.

  • Plus, it reminds me of Mrs. Roper.

    Because you likely had to pay way too much for that dress and you want to get your money's worth, dammit! ;

  • I would pay even more money not to wear those strapless things I bought as a bridesmaid ever again.
