I heard this on my local NPR this afternoon:

Tough times ahead, Iowa corn and pork producers warn Branstad

Many producers could develop stress, health problems as drought intensifies

I mean...isn't that the risk of your job?  It seems that everyone thinks the government should alleviate any sort of risk they take.  *strokes cat like Dr. Evil*

I agree to some extent.  This year has been record setting heat and drought though so I have some sympathy.
