RE: black flecks in DD's urine

The doctor's office had us come in to get a urine sample.  Amazingly, she did it.  It was the first time she'd gone on the toilet out of the house.

Anyway, there were flecks.  But they tested it and said it was clean, so nbd.  I asked if they saw the flecks.  She looked at me weird and said no.  I don't know if this means they didn't look or they didn't see them.

DH hadn't seen them either, so I told him I would show him next time she peed.  Wouldn't you know it, there weren't any flecks the next time she peed.

They were there.  I promise.

Well, yay for a clean test.

Now I know ask about such things when you give the sample, vs. when you get the results. (<-- that sounds assholish, but really, it's the kind of thing I might forget or something)

I pee glitter all the time.  It's just part of being fabulous.  DD and I must have that in common.

DG, I should have asked them to look.  I think the nurse didn't convey the message to the woman who tested the urine.

I'm still going to keep my eye on it, but I am relieved to know the test came back with nothing.

well, i am glad there was nothing to be alarmed about after they did the test.

hopefully it was something like lint or dust particles from her clothes or pullups or something. these kids, man!

See, this is what is driving me crazy.  I wipe out the potty every time, have inspected her pullups, etc.  I have no idea where this stuff could be coming from.
