So my fiance and I got engaged over a year and a half ago and we picked a date right away because we knew we both have family that would have to make travel plans and or save up for travel. so we told everyone a year and a half ago that we will be getting married this august. we sent out our invites 2 months ago, and now everyone is acting like its a big surprise that omg your actully getting married and you actually want us to come, like his dad just called us this weekend to tell us hes not going to make it out here! (in all fairness he does have to come from england, but its not like he doesnt do well for himself and he didnt have notice)

Its really annoying how ppl act like is such an inconveniance to come celebrate with you, my aunt that lives 2 hours away from where were having our wedding figures that no one in the family will be able to come because you know ppl have to work, like frig im not asking you to take months off work here like maybe a day...

I just really dont know what these ppl are getting at!
