Today I was reminded of Baby A's age

3 trips to the naughty step, and a very shrieky time of putting him down for his nap.

He's normally unusually good, with the occasional tantrum. Today has just been tough.

I'm looking forward to going out tonight.

Oh yes...The shreiking.  DefConn's can get quite piercing.

i needed that article for so long.

i know my kid has tantrums and we deal with it, and it actually makes me feel good about them knowing it's normal and part of development. i need to be reminded of this, because the tantrums are in full force right now.

Even though I know the science behind it, I still think toddlerhood and preteendom are going to be the death of me.   I'm not sure which is which or who is who some days.  They can act quite simlarly.  One just talks better than the other.
