And I am comically curly on the sides and the back is mostly just a big up-flip. I think I'll try again and twist before I tuck it under the headband.

I had to remember to keep pulling the back through at least more than 2 times...keep looping and leave yourself room for it. If you just tuck it once <<dirty, it won't curl enough.

I did tuck it several times, but I think maybe I had the headband too low. I had it down at the base of my skull and my hair is only a little longer than shoulder length.

Oh, and H wouldn't stop laughing at me when we went to bed last night. He thought it was very "Russian Grandma" but I thought the headband across the forehead gave it a disco vibe.
