As much judginess goes on with parenting around these parts, I found myself wanting to shake the everloving SCHIT out of Mildred's daughter Veda in between catatonic drooling at the wardrobe. Mildred's co-worker was WW encarnate, with her booze-swilling cattiness. The whole movie was a Dear Amy/Nestie post clad in fingerwaves and pencil skirts.
