twilight something part I

okay, this is probably the worst movie i have ever forced myself to watch, and i spent 20 minutes watching some of it. the rest of the time i spent fast forwarding.

the acting is bad. the writing, oh so bad. the computer graphics and all that film detail that should look good, just bad. i guess they picked a good cast for this movie series so they didn;t have to ruin perfectly good actors on it.

nothing happens. well, they get married, have sex, and then the movie drags on for about 75 minutes. i stopped during the fast forward to watch jacob turn into a wolf, then summon his wolf friends, and have a conversation about protecting humans and all that. the dialog is so just not good.

i know people either love this or hate this series, but i'm sad for people who spend money and enjoy it. i wish i had money to throw away.

I've said before that one of my friends is one of those people.  She even has a twilight christmas ornament on her tree every year.  I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't think the final movie was all that bad, but the first 3 were painful.

and someone had to have been laughing inside, thinking, "bazinga".

the wolf conversation. omg. i made H watch it. it was not good.

i remember having a conversation about Twilight (the first or second one) at the 2010 WW DC gtg and wonderw1fe going off about the guys turning into wolves and somehow ending up shirtless/wearing pants - "where are they hiding all of these pants in the woods?! do they wait to change back until they are near their pants stash? why can't they hide some shirts?!"

I can't watch them without RiffTrax, honestly. I went to New Moon with three of my friends and we almost got in a fight with some chick because we kept laughing so loudly, but we just could not help it. IT'S SO BAD.

My friends and I love Twilight. When we get together for movie nights, we put it on and scream at the tv about how Kristen Stewart can't close her mouth, or that terrible face she's constantly making, we throw popcorn and all around enjoy mocking the movie.

Sometimes it's about hating something so much you buy it to watch it over and over.
