Wedding Woes

I felt *kinda* bad

I got a political call the other day and the gal asked for me.  She said, "this is *so and so* with the pro-life campaign".  My response?  I'm not pro-life.

Got rid of that call lickety split!

H was all, "you're not pro-life"?  lol.  I wanted to watch tv, man.

I just say my mom isn't home. Yes, I sound that young on the phone.

Naw, that's funny.  I'm sure that caller has heard much worse.

No-not that I'm aware of.  I think he knows better (as far as my body is concerned).

Pro-life doesn't mean "I want all abortion outlawed forever", you know. I AM pro-life, loudly so, but I'm also a Libertarian, so guess what? I only get to be that way about my body, and have to use my words like a grownup to convince other people to also be so.

My friend is thinking about volunteering to counsel at an abortion clinic. When she told me, she said, "Sorry. I know that isn't what you want to hear right now." And in my head I was all like, what? Just because *I* want a baby and can't seem to have one doesn't mean I changed my stance on other people being able to have a choice. When I told her as much she looked a little confused.
