I have boob woes

My pump broke today.  IDK what happened to it, but I plugged it in and it started making a metal+metal griding sound.  Not good.  So now I get to sit here, boobs all full, til 4pm.  Momma Leg's over it already.  I have my hand pump, but I was only able to express 1/8th of what I normally do.

::sigh::

    I'm sore in sympathy.  Ouch.

    I've never used a hand pump, but I haven't heard rave reviews.  Especially if your girls are used to a double electric.

    I know your pain.  Oh how I know your pain.

    What kind of pump?  Have you tried customer service?

    In fact, it doesn't suck, which is the problem.

    It's an Ameda, which I lurve lurve lurve.  But this is my second replacement.  It's being delivered on Monday a.m. at work.  I bought the first pump in July and it crapped out on me in November.  Now it's March and the second one dies.  I'm hoping the third lasts til July at least.

    The customer service line has always been outstanding and if it weren't Friday, I'd have that pump tomorrow.  But ... grrr.  I like the pump design and would buy another one tomorrow, despite my track record.  I'm just annoyed and uncomfortable.  I need someone to nurse.

    How far away is her daycare?  Can you make a quick visit?  Or are there other daycares nearby?  Maybe you can find a needy baby there.

    DD's daycare is 40 miles away.  There *is* a daycare across the street.  BRB!
