Northwest Houston is a pretty large area, but there are some good things out that way. Do you know the specific area? (Klein, Champion Forest, Tomball, etc.) I could narrow it down a bit. My girlfriend Nicole uses a daycare & loves it. It's located in Tomball. If she is close out there, I can get the info. I have a few other friends that use a daycare, so if you can get a narrowed area, I'll try to help.
Houston is known for their food, so there are a billion choices...most of which you can't go wrong with. There is a fab sushi place called Redfish off of 249. Also, Pho Thong Long (I think that is the correct name) is off of Louetta & 249. That is where I tear up some duck...damn it, now I want to drive an hour for it! Baker Street Pub is off of 249 & 1960...pretty decent for happy hours, although the clientele is a little db.
I'm not sure about doc/ dentist, but I can put an A.P.B. on the facebook & see what I can get.
