I promise this is the last post about Paterno. I'll stop now.
"He never said it was "NBD". He was told it was taken care of. Sandusky was no longer part of the staff, and Paterno had no further authority over him. If it were MY child, I would be angry at the administration, the police who failed to investigate, and Jerry Sandusky. I would be saddened that my child did not feel comfortable bringing it to my attention. But, No, I would NOT be angry at Joe Paterno. There comes a point where we have to stop blaming everyone, and blame the person in question. Actually, perhaps Sandusky should actually be CONVICTED before we start heaving judgments at anyone and everyone we can. I do not condone child abuse. I do, however, condone a thorough investigation, and not slinging blame around without all the facts, of which you OR I simply do not have. And I most certainly do not advocate saying nasty things about a man who just died."
