I get an e-mail with a case re: something that I have to deal with @ work. Okay, that's normal. Sent out to specific mailing list.
It has a note attached informing me that I'll be giving a synopsis of the case @ our next meeting.
Um, what? To my knowledge, no paralegal has ever been asked to do this (the paralegal who's been here for 25 years said, Yeah, I saw that e-mail, that's weird"). I also have no idea what they want in synopsis (which my next step is to go nicely ask, What it is you're wanting me to address).
IDK if it's a good thing or a bad thing, b/c really this issue is usually one where I say, "Hey, I don't have a J.D.!" and turn to the attorney. And it's not like I can answer any questions comparing/contrasting MO law with this new state case law b/c...well...I'm not a J.D.
I also suffer from major paranoia still, so I immediately wonder if they're trying to trip me up.
