I don't understand them, but that's true of a lot of baby crap.

oversized legwarmers so babies don't hurt their knees when crawling.  It's a gimmick.

They seem pretty dumb to me. Why not just put some pants on your kid?

I thought it was instead of pants so you had one less thing to take off when diaper changing.

I mean, I never minded taking off pants, but if you really need that convenience, I'm not gonna stop the market from filling that need.

I never knew they were to protect knees when crawling.  I just never saw how they were better than pants.

Better than pants becuase it's easier to change thier diapers.

I still think it's not worth it.

But you can just pull the pants down, not necessarily off.  If you're going to pull the pants off wouldn't you also pull the legs off?  And if it's would enough for legs wouldn't that strip of sking get cold?

    Like I said, I don't get it.

If someone wanted to give me a baby and a pair of babylegs, I would put them on my newly acquired baby.  But I can see how they are gimmicky.

I made 1 pair for buffy because we're (in theory) doing cloth-diapers and that makes pants harder.  (bulkier bums).

But, meh, I don't particularly care.

i was not aware that baby pants were terribly complicated.  and my understanding is that you could use pants as some kind of binding system to prevent the kid from kicking as you are trying to change out the diaper.

or do kids wear some kind of specially engineered pants that are different from regular pants?  i thought they were basically tiny breakways.

Rompers- there was a battle about kids being "too old" for rompers.  It was just as lame.

I never saw the point, but I didn't care until there were eleventy hundred "ZOMG, check out these babylegs!" posts.  Then I grew tired of them.

I would think that the shirts would be more complicated, you know big head, small hole.

H, don't you dare say DIRTY.
