Wedding Woes

Completely Unexpected Uh-Oh...a Newbie Needs Advice!

Hi, all!

Until now, the planning for my October 2011 wedding has been without incident, so I've been happily and obliviously hanging out over on the other boards. But now, right after the alterations are finished on my beautiful dream dress, my fiance and I are facing the very real possibility that we could be (very unexpectedly) pregnant.  We're still waiting to hear, but IF I am, this will make me roughly 6 months along at our wedding.  Don't get me wrong, we're excited and prepared to be parents, but...

Has anyone else put there been though this???  Does anyone have any advice???

why are you unsure, 3 months along?

Are youi waiting on verification from the doctor or are you pacing the bathroom waiting for the lines to show up or what?

seriously? this sounds like a load of MUD.

POAS and confirm if you actually ARE pregnant. then go to a doctor and have them confirm that the pee stick was right. if you're not high risk, not seeing an RE trying to get KU, and have not had prior pregnancies, they will most likely make you wait until you're 8-9weeks along to confirm.

also, NOBODY in their right mind alters their dress 5 months out. I think I went in for alterations 3-4 weeks before my wedding and checked the fit/got my dress back the week before.

if you are pregnant, the fit of your dress will be the least of your worries.

we can all give you opinions but we cannot give you a blood test, go to the doctor!

i will share this to be supportive: right after we got engaged last year we had a stressful time due to a death in the family, job changes, and moving across the country (all these things happened at once).  i skipped a month and started throwing up.  i went to the dr. convinced i was pregos. but i was not pregos.  i was just an overanxious basketcase and my immune system was down so i had the flu.

i am 99% sure you are not pregnant but i am not a doctor.  go to the doctor!
