The View "gals" are talking about how great the American Idol cast is this season. They're going on and on about how they hit all their notes and their voices are sooooo good and then they play a bunch of clips.

Of people so flat that I, a singer with almost no real pitch recognition, am wincing. 

This is why I can't watch AI. It's so bad, and then people applaud and vote like crazy. It's also why I picked a school with integrated music education for Bacon.

Eh, if it weren't the View, it would be my FB feed or the actual news or something. I like the View. There's so much to judge.

I think it's funny that without Simon, the "ugly" people got through, and they're the better singers of the bunch.  Out of the top 24, I think *maybe* 8 should stay.

I have DirecTV, Kuus - I have Syfy and the Science Channel and a whole bunch of others. Right now, Syfy has "Stargate Universe" on. Barf. I never even got all the way through SG-1. 

Seriously, daytime TV is a wasteland. It's all reruns of interesting shows I've seen 45 times (yes, I'm looking at you, History Channel) or cooking shows, or the talkfests.

I was watching them on DVD before Netflix, and I missed a few seasons in the middle, and then when I went to pick them up, Parker Lewis couldn't lose when he went through the Stargate and the general was gone and MacGyver wasn't on the team anymore or something. 

Also, T'ealc's facial hair.
