Other things I am stabby about regarding birth control & Rush

The health insurance mandate IS NOT PAID FOR BY TAXPAYERS!  It means that YOU and/or your EMPLOYER pay for PRIVATE health insurance.  IT IS NOT SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!

If my birth control prescription is paid for by my PRIVATE health insurance company, NO TAX PAYER DOLLARS ARE USED!!!!!!  I

CAPS LOCK IS HOW I FEEL INSIDE!!!!!!1!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!!ELEVENTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rush limbaugh. ok. nevermind. it took me all of 5 whole minutes to think of how your post about b/c relates to the music group, and why you did not mention the music group in the post at all. now i get it.
  • People/sheeple are not smart enough to sit down and think about things logically.  They'd rather turn on the tv or radio and get worked into a lather by some talking head.  And then tell other people about it as if it is fact.  Thus, the crazy media re: pretty much anything/everything out there.

  • But people like Rush, and some of the other conservative talking heads who make bajillions of dollars by thinking and talking about nothing else DO know better and they lie to the public to scare them into voting against their own good just for the sake of power and money.

The general public who listens to this crap without checking is out is sad and unfortunate.  The people who knowingly spread the lies and manipulation are downright immoral if not criminal.

I agree. It's unfortunate that people walk around adamant that their opinions are based on facts, but they never take the time to actually look into why they have certain opinions and beliefs.
  • Oh but they do check "facts".  On FoxNews.com.  *smh*

  • the main thing i am mad about is that it is not about sex.  rush made it all about sex (of course, he is a pill-popping, dominican republic sex tourist) but fluke's testimony was about the various MEDICAL reasons why women take hbc.

and by the way -- it's totally okay for a woman to take hbc just to have sex.  there's no shame in it.
    image
  • Would Rush prefer a bunch od unwanted children running around? Because I'm thinking that is more expensive than HBC.

  • I love Rush.  "Spirit of Radio" makes me feel all warm inside.

The woman I've been (foolishly) arguing about this with on FB keeps saying Fluke wants taxpayers to pay 100% of her birth control costs. And on top of that, that Fluke only wants 100% coverage for women - not for any male birth control like vasectomies.

It makes me wonder where she's getting this. I mean, Fox news spins facts, but I think even they at least start with facts?

    image
  • You know the thing that gets me?  SO.  WHAT?

I will pay for birth control for anyone who wants to go out having ANY sex whether they're in a relationship, married, or just slutting it up (both men and women, btw, I've known male sluts I wouldn've have touched with a wrapped biosuit and a 20 foot pole).  B/c I have a vested interest in a controlled birth rate and controlled pregnancies.  I'm all for putting the crap into the water (in larger amounts than it shows up by various means) and making people get licenses to have children (yes, this is hyperbole for anyone who doesn't understand).

But yes, Rush is just wrong.
  • Plusalso, he comes across like a dirty old man. She came to express her opinions, and he took it to an entirely different level.

Also, why don't more people remember this when extoling his virtues?

  • FYI, if you want to get outraged over paying for sex...why do some Medicare part D plans cover Viagra? Suck on that Rush. There is no need for a man to take Viagra other than to have sex.
