1) DK is sort-of getting a promotion at work. he's getting a new title (for the job he's been doing for the past year) - but unfortunatly not the pay that goes with it due to some sort of spend freeze. His boss asked him to make a suggestion for the new title, so we were trying to come up with something that sounded impressive. hoping it ends up as "Global Director of ____" - we figured they wouldn't go for "Grand Supreme Overlord of ___" He's going to start job hunting once he gets the new title to see if he can't push through the raise (actually at the recommendation of his boss)
2) I told DK to discuss some opportunities for travel /cross training with his boss (hoping that the higher visibility may also help the raise go through) - and boss sounded supportive. I'm hoping for one of their European offices, because I'm planning to tag along (Wolverine too). London and Geneva would be options.
3) I'm doing the Warrior Dash on Saturday. I'm about 90% in it for the fuzzy viking hat, 5% to say I finished, and 5% to get a turkey leg post-race.
4) GBCK's post makes me want a donut and a cute book rep.
5) i just don't like ending on an even number.
