Wedding Woes

Big fat fail

6let wanted NO part of story time.  All 26 lbs of him managed to push open one of those heavy wooden doors.  Rather than ruin it for everyone we left.

We went to the mill to pick up DH and see old coworkers.  6let SCREAMED anytime I tried to take him inside.  So people just came out to see him.

We did have a lovely, lovely lunch.  The waitress, hostess, and owner all commented on how well behaved he was.  We had a gift cert from one vendor we were going to use.  Another vendor came in and picked up the tab so we still have the $100.

Now he's napping.  I should probably clean the bathrooms.

Well, he has no trouble expressing his opinions. That's - a mixed blessing.

Hee. I've been there. It gets sort-of better when they can talk. (Because at least then you know exactly what they want.)

I am waiting for this day so I can figure out what, exactly, DD's problem is with her high chair.  She shrieks and goes stiff as a board when I try to sit her in it.  I don't know if it's uncomfortable, if she doesn't like high chairs in general, if she's holding out for a Tripp Trapp, or what.  We're stumped.

6, what is 6let's beef with story time?

Words would be a big help.  He does understand though: We can go outside after we change, turn off the tv, go potty... and he knows exactly what to do.

I don't know what's up with story time.  My sister thinks maybe he's afraid it's daycare and I'll leave him.

The kid was also afraid of his raincoat.  Who knows what goes through his mind.

Every time we attempt story time it's a big fat fail as well.   At least you got out of the house, though.   We never even make it that far.
