I saw this yesterday and I firmly believe it deserves Best Picture and Colin Firth most definitely deserves Best Actor. I couldn't look away from this movie. I loved the way the director used the negative space and the wallpaper/dingy walls to frame the actors. I loved Helena Bonham Carter as the Queen Mum. And I loved the scene where he was swearing up a storm. Especially the last word.
GREAT movie. I'll be rooting for it on Sunday.
