I need you to come out to NY to give me a fondant lesson. I'm already looking at ideas for M's first birthday (only because I"m going to have to practice) and fondant might be necessary.

I love fondant so much. If you use the recipe I use it's so so easy, I think it's pretty fool proof.
And holy cow I can't believe you're already planning her birthday party!

crazy lady. Can you make the cake pops ahead of time  and freeze them? Also, you can make the fondant like a month ahead of time too. You just have to store it properly and it will still be as good as new.

That's adorable! I still can't make my circle fondant covered cakes have a sharp edge, they're always rounded.

I actually think that cake is done in buttercream with fondant embellishments.
