Restaurant/Bar Recommendations

FI, myself and our friends would like to go out to eat/drink after our reception for an after party.  Our reception will end around 11 pm.  We are getting married in Northeast Philly area, on Torresdale Avenue.  Do you ladies have any recommendations of any good places to eat/drink in the city?  Or the suburb area in Lower Bucks County area?  I posted this on Sunday night when I know that many of you aren't on, so I thought I'd try again lol. 

So far we are thinking Miller's Ale House in Langhorne, my MOH said it was good there or Chicki and Pete's on Roosevelt Blvd.  Also a bonus would be if the place recommended is kinda on the way back to Morrisville, if not no biggie.  We don't want anything fancy, just some time to wind down after the wedding and hang with our friends.

    We used to go there all the time when we lived in that area. Great place and great drink prices!

    I second Miller Ale House.  They have pretty good drink prices.  Parking can be a little tricky though-- that parking lot gets packed quickly!

    yea true --only downfall.  Sometimes you have to park at the mall and walk over

    hmmm...the bar is open until 2.  Not sure long they serve food.  BUT If you were looking to grub after the wedding, I'd suggest checking with them.  We are thinking having our rehersal dinner there, and I know they can do a buffet style.  If you were set on going there, maybe they could hook you up with late night snacks....

    One more idea since you mentioned Morrisville... you might want to check out the Continental tavern in Yardley.  The bar there is small and fills up quickly, but they have a dining room and an upstairs that they use for big parties.  That's another place that you would probably need to work out something with the manager/owner...maybe have them set up a couple trays of food - they have awesome cheesteak spring rolls  and great wings!  You would def want to keep in mind though that it is on Main Street in Yardley, where there is a significant police presence.  You'll wantto make sure you have enough DD's if you go there.

    hey ken, thanks for the suggestions.  I will have to check into those two places and I hadn't even thought of the Continental Tavern.  Haha that statement about the DD's cracked me up, we'll be safe lol :)
