WFL?

DK has today off, so he was going to go to a movie, but since they listed the movie times incorrectly, he decided to take me out for lunch.

right now it's between Mediterranean or this place:

I'm leaning towards Hungry's - their food is fantastic and they have a good variety of things to choose from.

Re: WFL?

  • Leftovers. We've got chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots or steak fajitas. I'm thinking fajitas.
  • I see Five Guys or In 'n Out in our lunch future. We both have the day off.

^it sounds like Myrtle is planning a dirty day off, with five guys in and out.

    ba dum bum.
  • chicken, yogurt, and a cookie.

What I really want is a shot of whiskey.
  • Hell if I know.  I have been HORRIBLE about meal planning since xmas.  HORRIBLE.  I can't get my schit together.

  • I am having a steaming bowl of anger for no particular reason.  Anyone want to have pop-off Monday?

  • I made a meatball sub from  DH's birthday party leftovers.   And some birthday cake.   (Lime Jello Poke Cake with Cool Whip for icing.  Be jealous bitches!)
  • I'll do a pop off Monday. I had my annual review with my manager and it was great (I'm a strong performer!) but then she said I didn't have a good work life balance. Um what b!tch? How do you know that...actually it's been great.
  • what the heck are you so angry about, zsazsa? i'm actually in a fine mood, so i am totally ready to pop off properly. clear headed popoffs are usually pretty good.
  • I had a generally lazy co-worker call and accuse me in a round-about way of "throwing her under the bus" with her performance review in which it was noted that she "lacked enthusiasm."  Our boss told her that others in the department had noted this about her also, so of course it must be me.  When asked for feedback months ago I had told my boss that lazy co-worker seemed bored.  But that is 1000% better than had I really let me opinion be known that co-worker is lazy and lies a lot to attempt to cover up for her laziness.

Immediately after accusing me she mentioned that she was going to take off at noon today because our boss is out and did I think that was okay or should go through all of the vacation time red tape?  What?!?!?

So that set me off and then three cups of coffee later I am fired up and ready to argue.

I'm in the same boat.  Even worse, I haven't been keeping stuff well-stocked for lunches, so I'm eating like crap for lunch usually.
  • Zsa, what is this 'red-tape' she speaks of?  I'm quite curious.

Oh, you know.  Those pesky things like entering it in the vacation time software so that it actually counts against her balance and boss lady ends up hearing about it.

Mind you, she didn't come in until almost 10 her time.   She e-mailed me to tell me she was leaving at 11:30.  Wow.  A whole hour and a half today.  And she spent a third of that on the phone with me.

She sounds awesome.  Is this the one who uses her kid as an excuse all.the.time too?
  • I had a harvest chicken salad, with bagel on the side.  And some pretzel M&Ms.
