So on Tanks second day of school I went to pick him up. I noticed his sweater was not the one he left the house in. I looked at the label and it belonged to his classmate "Tim." Tim had already left for the day. I spoke to the teachers and they said that Tim probably had Tank's sweater.
The next day I returned Tim's sweater. Tim's mom told the teacher she didn't have Tank's.
Ooookay....so your kid went home w/o a sweater?
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the kids got thier sweaters confused given they wear uniforms. Tank's sweater cost maybe $10 more tham Tims. It's not like he was wearing $300 sweater. I let it go. I wasn't going to get into what I deemed to be a petty fight with no proof.
Fastfoward to today. Tim came to school wearing Tank's sweater. Tank's name clearly written on the inside label. The sweater was returned to Tank.
Don't worry about Tim, the weather was nice and he didn't freeze. I feel bad for Tim, he's confused as to why his sweater was taken away. He's a really nice kid with a f-up Mom.
His mother is G to the ETTO fabulous. I wouldn't be surprised if she comes to school tomorrow to make a scene. I plan on wearing sneakers tomorrow just in case.
