Wedding Woes

The only good part of an early riser

It's only 8:30 and we've

- gone for a walk
- been to the store
- made blackberry yogurt
- plums are baking for plum yogurt (the yogurt is bought I blend in fruit)
- brownies are baking for the neighbor
- the second load of laundry is in

I need a nap

Damn.  Even when DD is up early, my list looks like this:

    Fed baby.
    Pee break.
    Fed self.
    Washed face.
    Still trying to wake up.

    That is awesome.

This was my day Saturday. It made me think I need to get up extra early every day to do stuff before work. I haven't, but maybe one day :)

I love getting up early, but just because I miss the heat.  I don't really accomplish anything.  :)

We have a busy day so I was trying to pack it in.  We have to meet our lawyer at 11, oodles more laundry, more play, and calling hours for a friend's father tonight.

I'm with Nico on this -  up that early, I wouldn't be productive.

my list would be something like:
    get up to pee
wander aimlessly around the house, occasionally bumping into things
pet doggies and tell them to be quiet
turn on tv or get on computer
fall back asleep wherever i happened to be sitting.

Color me impressed.  When I'm up early on the weekends it's very hard for me to get motivated to do anything when I know the rest of the world (or just Mr. Arb) is still in bed.

    Yeah, I hate weekday mornings.

I wake up with DH's alarm everyday at 4:30am or so.
I get up to pee around 5am.
I go back to bed until 6:30a-6:40a and then I get up for the day and rush to get out the door by 7a.  (I shower at night).

Now on weekends, the boys will sleep until 11am or so, but I'll be up by 7:30-8am and get lots done w/o them or at least watch what I want to on TV.  It depends on how I feel.

i was going to ask how to make yogurt.

    it's currently 9am and so far i've.....

    peed
    breakfast to the cats
    made coffee
read and answered all my emails
shoe shopped online (didn't buy anything!)

that's about it. i'm off today which is why i can be a bum. but i'm so not a morning person.

I don't mind getting up early, but I wouldn't be able to motivate to get out of the house. Before I went to work this morning I:

    - woke up at 7:45
    - went to the bathroom
    - ate a FiberOne poptart while watching TiVoed episodes of Who's The Boss?
    - showered
    - packed a bag for the gym
    - filled up my water bottle and gathered snacks
    - left the house at 8:50 to be here by 9
