We went to Disney from Fri-Mon. While exhausting, all in all it was a great trip.
A few things:
- We will not be traveling with the family again. It was fine that they were there, but DH and I really prefer for it to be just us. DH's parents are up at 5, and mine are out of the hotel room at the crack of noon. We're somewhere in the middle.
- Sharing a one room hotel room with a 1 year old is tough, particularly when they're exhausted and don't want to sleep. However, A was a trooper and wasn't cranky even though he was tired.
- Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party -- RECOMMEND. Well worth the additional cost just to see A's enjoyment of the parade and fireworks.
- Wearing shoes with good support is key for walking around places like Disney. My back and legs aren't killing me like they usually are.
