It was short and sweet, but it feels good knowing where to go and what to do.
The rooms are really nice and HUGE, which is great. It looks like the beds for the dad's are pretty comfy.
A couple things:
1) We told the kiddo that it's his job to tell whoever he's with where to go to visit us once I have the baby. He's taking this very seriously. It's cute.
2) While waiting for the tour to start, I thought of another 'job' for the kiddo. I said, "Hey buddy, I have another job for you." He says, "What?! I want to do something!" I said, "It's your job to make sure whoever you're with gets our food order before you come to hospital to visit the baby, 'cause daddy and Ia re going to be hungry!" His face fell comically, because he thought he was going to get to do something right then. LOL
3) We had five other couples with us. Three of them (well, the dad's) reeked of cigarettes. Yuck.
4) We walked into an L&D room and one guy says, "Oh, I think this is the room where my first kid was born." And the way he said it, you knew that the girl he had KU'd now was not the mother of his first child.
