It's currently being negotiated. Hope to have a response to my counteroffer by tomorrow.
Also, my unemployment claim was in limbo because they asked if I was owed any vacation pay, and I said yes but my company said no. According to my paperwork, "yes" was the correct answer, and Kind Unemployment Customer Service Rep said it's all straightened out as of today.
That's all that's going on here. Except that I have to confess that I thought I could hack it as a SAHM if DH had a job and/or we didn't need actual money to live on, and now I see that I can't. Probably around the time I muttered under my breath "Jesus, stop screaming about every.damn.thing." (I'm pretty sure she didn't hear me, due to the screaming, and I translated it into a more constructive "Use your words" to make myself feel less Betty Draper about it.)
