Wedding Woes

Good moring y'all...

I wonder how 6 is doing.  Today is baby day, right?

How was the weekend?  Our was pretty good.  Baby C's room is done (with the exception of a couple shelves that need to be put up), we went to see the kiddo's art at an art show he was entererd by his art teacher, and we took our hospital tour last night.  We also cooked two really awesome dinners Saturday and Sunday.  Oh and I got a lot of snuggles in with my neighbor's baby.  He's just the sweetest little thing.  And it was nice to hang out and talk to her.

We're pretty much ready to have a baby.  Why do I feel like panicking?  LOL

Weekend was really good.  Got my midterm done, think I did well.  Hung out with two of my old roommates, made some plans for next week with people I haven't seen in ages, spent some time with the family for my grandmom's birthday.  My new nephew looks so much like his brother already, so I know I'm in for years of cuteness overload.

I can already tell this week is going to feel like it's going forever - only working till Thursday, then campus is closed for a week for spring break.

I can't remember if this is 6's baby day - there have been so many of you due right around now that I can't keep everyone straight!   How much longer do you have?

I'm 37w1d, so I'm *technically* full term.  My actual due date is April 3rd.

Just under 3 weeks...What the what, yo?

I would be panicking too, but you're already a great Mom, and you have nothing to worry about. You guys will all do great, Conn :)

I saw the pics of the baby's room, it's super cute. Was it a glossy green or was that just the sun shining on it?

It's semi-gloss paint.  We took the pics last night, so you're probably seeing the reflection from the lamps.

And thanks.  We worked really hard on the room and we are so pleased with how it turned out.  When it was all done yesterday, DH and I just sat in there and enjoyed it for a little bit (and tried to come to an agreement on a name, LOL)

Your nursery is super cute and there is no doubt you will CONTINUE to be a great mom.

Tomorrow is baby day.  DH is off today so we're just doing last minute things- making guest bed, moving the ironing board, GETTING THE FURNACE FIXED.  The guy is here right now.  6let is giving a running commentary "hey dadadada, furnace broke.  Hey daaddaada man have screwdriver.  Hey daddadada man have light."  He's also listing everything in the utlitly room  "Hey daddadddaaa mommy's roller skates.  Hey dadadada Daddy's golf clubs.  Hey dadadadada pumpkin."

He won't let DH leave the room.

We're getting closer BC.   We didn't argue about the baby's name yesterday, which was a first.  :)

He'll be named...It just may be a game day decision.  Which is fine.

Oh man, I thought you were having a Pi Day baby.  :)  6let is too cute.  I'm glad your furnace is getting fixed!!

Pi Day was a choice, but it would have been a different doc.  Then the doc ended up being off this week so it's a good thing I didn't choose that.

We're down to a handful of names.  Well 6 is names is sort of a handful.  Maybe I should put it to a WW vote.

*pouting at not seeing baby room pics, ah well*

Went to a massive baby stuff consigment sale.  Sheese, what a production!  Orchestrated chaos.  Got some cute stuff, though.  May stop back there again tomorrow when they restock.

Lil' M had pretty bad spit up all day.  Mt. Vesuvius one time.  Niagra Falls the other.  Went to a friend's going away party and had fun.  But once I got home I felt like crap (entire family's been dealing with a cold virus of some sort) went to bed around 9pm or so.  Usual bedtime is about 11:30 to midnight.

Spent all day Sunday resting and recuperating :(
