Wedding Woes

That was a productive morning

6let and I hit Sam's Club bright and early.  We have ~$700 in FSA money we need to spend in the next 3 weeks.  I went down the aisles and anything with FSA on it  that we used went in the basket- antacids, immodium, band-aids, alcohol wipes, contact solution, and 2 boxes of the good allergy meds- there's $90.

Then we headed to JC Penney were I snagged pants and a shirt for my niece's bday and 2 shirts for 6let.  All for $22.

JoAnn fabrics netted the favors for bday party $3.75.

I've had a $25 gift card to Kroger for over 2 years.  Today we went and bought 9 lbs of pork for the party, an insulated reusable bag, some cheese to snack on, and the stuff to do a train puzzle cake.  $10 out of my pocket.

I also booked appts. for all of us to get our eyes examined.  We can eat up that FSA in no time at the eye doc.

6let got oodles of compliments on his cuteness, his hat, and how good he is.  Oh, and I did all of this in maternity shorts.

Before we moved, I went to see all of my docs and got all of my meds refilled.

    Yay for being productive.

    That is productive.

I feel unproductive by going to work. All I really want to do is sit at home in the morning in my PJs and watch TV while pretending to get stuff done in the house.

    I am a whore busy.

Min- I just need to get the money spent before DH quits.  We would have been okay through the end of the year, but we've got to spend it all now.  Luckily my sis is the eye doc.  She'll write us receipts for full price then give us a discount.

You can buy me my medical supplies and I'll reimburse you :) Just make sure you ask for the small needles for the B12 shots. If you don't, they try to unload the big, milkshake straw, needles on you.

I'm spending the amount we put in on stuff for us.  We can spend the full elected amount so I'm going to spend that too and donate it too a shelter.

Zsa- It's the exact same thing the hosptial does.  They bill full price.  We get reimbursed full price.  The hospital gives a 20% quick pay discount.  It's all automatic.  When it first happened I actually called weekly for several months to get it taken back, but nobody cared.  I gave up.

    Nico- diapers don't count.

You are getting the benefit of an error on the part of your FSA administrator.  You pointed it out, and that is all you can do.  But intentionally submitting a false receipt is quite another thing. Your SIL could get in much more trouble than you.
