Wedding Woes

chicken skins and Woody

I got to have some last night.

H also made chicken gravy and mashed potatos.

I prepped some snacks for the week while H cooked. That included carrot sticks and cucumber slices. I hooked the dogs up with some of whatever I was prepping.

When Jake and Woody were sick, I gave them some of their kibble with pumpkin...it's good for their stomachs. Jake is a baby and tried to eat all of this pumpkin before he conceeded to eat the kibble. This slowed him down. Once Woody realized he was done, but Jake still had food, he barreled Jake out of the way and started eathing his food.

So, now it's on. Jake can generally eat faster, so when Woody had his carrots in peices, I told Jake to get the bits.

Favortism over, Woods.

Also, giving okra to dogs is only OK if you plan on vacuuming later.

Jake lets the fosters finish their food before he tried to lick their bowl clean. So, he deserves credit for that.

He does circle like a shark when we cook. He waits for anything to be dropped. Since we cook with onions, he has to stay out of the kitchen. Which means I need to tell him to get out of the kitchen every five minutes.

He does come in handy though. You are right.

My MIL eats okra with peas, which makes me want to barf.

All I have to add to this is that I cut up cucs and carrots for snacks for the week yesterday as well.  It makes it so easy on DH because he can grab and go. :)

Herbert looooves onions. We know they're poison to her, but she never got the memo. I also learned yesterday that grilled asparagus will get her attention better than any other treat we have.
