AWing new car - last post, i swear

i decided to get the Outback 2.5i Limited. i lub it. the features are awesome.

puddle lights, awesome sound system + 6CD changer+ MP3player compatable, bluetooth connect speakerphone through the steering wheel, backup camera, heated seats (i will use the hell out of them for our 3 weeks of winter, so i don't have to wear a coat).

I have to wait about 2 weeks for it to get here, but I'm really excited.

Need to go get a new carseat now.

you can get it, factory installed, in the outback (not sure on the other models, but probably the forrester and tribeca at a minimum). it's like $1500 extra. All of the dealers recommended just going to best buy/target/wherever and get a tomtom for $100.

i have gps on my [stupid]phone now, but i'm getting a new one in sept, so i'll either go buy a tomtom (or like) or download an app on the new phone.

i was talking to the dealer about the tribeca vs outback, and i think the outback is a better deal - the tribeca is only like 3" longer than the outback, and nobody over the age of 7 or so could comfortably fit in the 3rd row seats for any length of time. dealer said the outback has a lot more leg room in the 2nd row of seats than the tribeca. i don't like the forrester cause it's boxy.

puddle lights are right under the door frames, so when you unlock the car with the remote, or open the doors from the inside, they illuminate the ground - you can see if you're going to step in something (puddle or otherwise) at night.

(truthfully, i thought they were called puddle lights because they make a puddle of light on the ground. DK made fun of me for about 20 minutes last night when i said that)
