Wedding Woes

Someone left the coffeemaker on.

And what was left in the coffee pot has turned into dried out sludge. Awesome.

I don't drink coffee, so I don't know much about it. Is there anyway to clean that out or is the glass pot a goner?

I would say baking soda.  But that's a total guess.

LOTS of salt (a huge heaping pile) and cold water.  Swish it around and it should do the trick.

ETA:  Put ice cubes in as well.

Salt and icecubes. Lots of salt and icecubes, swish it around, it'll scrape off the junk

Yep, salt ice cubes and squeeze in lemon juice if you've got it.  That's how we cleaned coffee pots at every restaurant I worked in.  We'd leave it overnight and run it through the dishwasher in the morning.
