The Mirena has landed

It's been in for over an hour now.  That was a quick appointment--I spent more time in the waiting room than actually lying there.  Slightly crampy now, but otherwise fine.  But since DH was a little concerned, maybe I will decide that I need to recuperate instead of making dinner tonight.  ;)  (Okay, maybe not.)

I'm glad I listened to you all.  WW has the best WR-advice AND the best contraceptive advice!  It's like a one-stop shop.

Good Lord I hope so! If not they're going to be dumpster diving for the old one.

Now I'm picturing it in the back of Tt's fridge or something, next to the jar of pickles.

Yes.  It is loverly.  Though the weird (TMI) spotting is slightly annoying.

I am looking into this after Ethan is born. I was so over the NuvaRing when I last used it.

Yes, it is definitely supposed to lessen and most likely disappear altogether.  It doesn't prevent sex (god forbid), but it's still annoying.

My period stopped after about 6 or 7 months on the Mirena.  :)  Very rarely, I'll get spotting, but it's been months since that happened.  I've had mine for about a year and a half.  Best decision, evar.
