Too old???

My FI's niece is going to be 9 this August, so for our June wedding next year she will be 9 almost 10. Is this too old for a flower girl??

I was a Jr. Bridesmaid at 10.

But my little sister who was 6 was the flower girl

I agree with Cait. I would maybe call her a Jr Bridesmaid instead of Flower Girl. I was a Jr Bridesmaid at 10... and I was supposed to be a flower girl when the wedding was 3 years earlier.

Junior bridesmaid I think would be the proper title for her.

If you want a flower girl and there's no other options then just go ahead. As long as nobody tells her she's too old how's she going to find out?

Thanks for the advice. We are going to visit his family in Boston this weekend so I'm going to ask his mom and his sister what they suggest. I want to include her somehow, just don't know what to call her!
