Wedding Woes

Morning

Bring on the coffee.  What's up for the weekend?

Last night DH got called in at 1, Max woke at 2, M2 at 330 and 430.  Today we are trying to reshoot M2.  Tomorrow is the circus (her bday present).  Hopefully Sunday we can get the kitchen drawer fixed.  The front came off 3+ wks ago.  I also have $10 kohls cash and a 30% coupon.

Re: Morning

  • Tonight: DH *should* leave work at a reasonable hour.  The kiddo has a festival thing at school tonight.  DH, DefConn, and I are going shopping for the party on Sunday.

Tomorrow: Party prepping the house.  Hanging out.  Sleeping in...maybe?

Sunday: DH has to work in the morning.  Then it's party time.  Our beer is ready and it's good. I can't wait for our families to try it and let us know their thoughts.  :)

  • All 3 kids are gone until tomorrow night.  They felt bad that DD2 was sick last weekend so they wanted to have her spend the night this weekend, so the other two went along as well.

I'm home alone all day!  (or until DH gets home around noon)

We're going out to dinner (alone!) and maybe going to a movie.
  • YAY Taw!!  :)  Enjoy!  :)
  • Tonight:  Dinner w/ the ILs

    Tomorrow: basement rennovation.

Sunday: "tapas style" bridal shower with bruschetta and cheesy crockpot potatoes.

  • 6, I wish I lived nearby so that I could watch the kids for 30 minutes while you grab a nap.  I would be in meltoown mode with that little sleep.

Tomorrow is glorious nothing.  I'm hoping to get some things framed and hung on the wall.  Sunday is a cantata (I can't spell that) at church and I think my brother & SIL are coming down to spend the day with us.  SIL has never been here and I'm excited to show her how exciting my town is.

I just a friendly gal looking for options.

    I wish I lived close to 6, b/c I think M2 and I would be best buds.

IDK what we're doing this weekend.  I'm sure Arkham Horror is involved, since we're highly addicted.  Maybe a Hobbit party.  Cleaning out the back room.

Thanks zsa.  Kid shows are a great way to nap.  Busytown is 22 mins of perfection.

    V- I'd love you teach M a few things.
  • Today: Work, then laying low.  I hope.  I'm sure H will think we need to go to a movie or something, especially given that he is working "normal" hours for now.

Tomorrow:  10 miles slated on the 'mill (watching RW of course), bfast with the family, errands, regular Saturday.

    Sunday: Nothing special.

  • No plans so far. Last weekend was sorta busy, so I'm going to enjoy not having any plans. I do need some new work clothes, so shopping will be on the agenda at some point. I always get tired of wearing the same stuff once Spring rolls around.

  • DH is out of town until his flight lands around 8:30 tonight, so Baby A and I will be making pizza for dinner and hanging out.

Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym early, and then we're going to a Bunny Brunch and a kids carnival nearby. I'm hoping for some pool time after, but we'll see what kind of a mood Baby A is in. No plans for tomorrow night.

We have no plans for Sunday, but it will likely be the usual breakfast with the family and food shopping, etc. Also dreading to go to Passover dinner on Monday.

  • My little buddy, C, is growing up.  Pretty soon, he's going to be too big to like Tia Varuna.  It makes me sniffle.  :)  I need a new one!
  • I've been up since 3:30 this morning, after going to bed at 12:30. The feeding pump alarmed last night (DD rolled over on to her tube and slowed down the flow), then she had a meltdown, and then when I finally got back into bed H started snoring, the cat threw up, and every little beep or noise I heard had me wide awake.

We were supposed to go to services tonight but I don't think that's happening.

Tomorrow we're moving our storage unit. Luckily we have a babysitter otherwise it would have been a cluster fvkc. Tomorrow night a friend is coming up to hang out.

Sunday I have no plans. I hope to sleep and get some of the crafts I need to finish out of the way.

I'm off Mon and Tues for Passover.

And because the universe seems to think I"m a giant joke, on top of EVERYthing else going on, my grandma is in the hospital.
  • Dixie, I don't even know how to approach that.  I feel like any consolation is just not enough.  But I will give it anyway.  *vibes* *hugs**drinks*

I wish you lived near me, because you know I'd call you to babysit Bacon and teach her to be an awesome woman. <div>
</div><div>Tonight: nothing. Tomorrow: House cleaning and snow. </div><div>
</div><div>Sunday: Palm Sunday, and It Begins. Church, then two rehearsals. Hopefully at least one of them will NOT involve everyone talking and failing to pay even basic attention to the director and we can actually get something done. That would be a nice change. (Rehearsal obviously sucked last night.) </div>

  • That O. I know all of this will pass and I just have to muddle through it. It's just everything all at once that's making it extra hard.
  • *blushes* thanks, BMom.

My little buddy C is getting old enough that it's the "coming of age" thing and whoa! girls have different bodies!

T&M had already warned me that he was getting saucer eyes, and had to be talked to about it, at the pool during swimming lessons with women in swimsuits.  Last time I visited there we were playing Just Dance and there ended up being a quick, "C, you need to look at my eyes and not my chest" conversation. Poor kid, I thought he was going to melt into the ground.  Now, he strictly focuses on my face.

we (meaning, me, H, and the kid's teachers) have all come to the conclusion that the kid doesn't have a rash in his diaper; he just likes to play with his weiner. that was a fun conversation this morning. i am not bashful about this stuff, but it's hard to stay professional when talking to your kid's teachers about how fun he thinks his little thing is to play with.
  • That's funny, Wzz.

Luckily, my sitter is pretty laid back and we have a really good relationship.  Plus, there's sometimes stuff I tell her and she's like, "Oh, I know."
  • A bird pooped on my scarf and some of it got on my neck! I then stepped in a puddle and I am wearing flats and no socks! Grrrrrrrr, people better stay clear of me at work today!
  • In laws got into town last night, so we are taking advantage and going out to dinner tonight. First post baby date night without the baby!

Tomorrow is cleaning and prep for Sunday.

Sunday is dunking of baby Bean and then party afterwards at our house. I found some shoes on Amazon, here's hoping they work!

    <div>I went with these: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008K864PY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1" rel="nofollow">http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008K864PY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1</a></div><div>
</div><div>I wanted to be able to use them for teaching this summer as well, and up until now, I had no nude heels of any kind.</div>
