I love, love, LOVE the first half-hour of this movie.   I totally thought that they could have made a whole movie about Ellie and the old man (forget his name).
The rest of the movie was just mildly entertaining.

I thought it was cute.  However, I didn't cry or have my heartstrings tugged during the beginning portion of the movie, which apparently means I have no soul.

You people are crazy. I've seen this six or seven times now, cry every time at beginning and end, and laugh all the way through the middle.

I loved it. I just mentioned to H last night that I wanted to get a copy because I need to watch it again.

I haven't seen Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs yet and I really want to. I also need to see Toy Story 3 and I can't wait for Dispicable Me to come out.

The first half hour is what I hate. I cried the ugliest of ugly cries, and couldn't get over it enough to enjoy the rest of the movie.

I cannot wait for Despicable Me. H and I are definitely planning a date night for that one.

This on both accounts.  I cannot wait to see Despicable Me!  I also saw a preview for Rio, which comes out next Easter and I can't wait to see that either.

It was the one of the worst "blow my nose on Evan's sleeve while trying desparately to be butch" moments in movie history. That first half hour is up there with Liv Tyler putting her hand on the screen of static after Bruce Willis dies in Armageddon.

Ugh.

I haven't seen it but have heard nothing but good things about it.  It takes a lot for me to cry @ a movie.  I actually LMAO @ Titanic when Rose pried frozen Jack off the floating door.
