So...H asked me the other day how many CY of concrete I thought it would take to fill the footings for the deck.  I stopped, thought about it and said "150 CY".

He laughed so hard. 

It would take 1.2 CY.  Yep, 150 would almost make a patio tall enough to be a deck....6-8' tall.

I get all verklempt when I even SEE units that aren't metric, even though I have some idea of their magnitude.  I could see myself panicking and making this mistake.

I cold estimate the # of cc's you'd need easier.
