Old Movie Review -- Lincoln Lawyer

I LOVED this movie.  DH always likes to come in my movies in the middle.  I dislike it, but I'm used to it.  However, this one I would pause and say, Hurry up, what do you want, this is a good movie!  So, he stopped.  *files away for reference*

I think Matthew Mcwhatever has, "Must be sweaty and in wife beater at least once" in every contract.  I'm okay with that, he's still fine looking.

The suspense was really well done in this movie.  Even though you thought you were following along and knew the plot twists, you really didn't.  Ryan Phillipe was okay, the villain was a bit annoyingly one dimensional, but everyone else was really really good.  I wish I looked as good as Marisa Tomei does right now, she's still flipping gorgeous.

I think even if you're not into courtroom drama, you would still like this, b/c the drama and suspense are not actually courtroom related, it's about the people.  And I loved the relationship between the Haller and Earl.  Although I will say at one point, I was all, THAT'S RACIST.  But the relationship was not and was very much respect of equals.

Highly recommend.

I bet if you could afford to not deal with the daily grind that normal people have to deal with and could afford a top rated personal trainer and plastic surgeon you would look as good as any of those celebrities.
